Also YCKMD and the Braggart fanzine are showing an awesome movie called Waking Life in the Deleware
room at the Anderson public library on April 26th from 5:00 to 8:30. You can find out more about the movie at WakingLifemovie.com.
I also have another date scheduled for May 29th and we might be showing American Hardcore, more info on that movie at sonyclassics.com/americanhardcore.

YCKMD is booking a show on January 13th to celebrate some awesome YCKMD staff birthdays. It's at the Clubhouse in Indianapolis
(3225 Shadow Brook Drive) Please come out, the majority of the door money made will be used on printing this next issue. Bands
playing will be Highway Magic, Dead In Marseille, Davey Casket and the Ghouls and The Five Second Cummings. Oh yeah and probably
Cat Shit Fist with members of the amazing broken up Kennedy Brain Matter.

Hey, I just wanted to say some things about a great guy and my punk rock mentor, Lance Pratt co-founder
of http://www.viciousenterprises.net who just passed away yesterday at his home here in Anderson. Lance taught me not to worry about looking silly or goofy
at shows or life in general but just to have a good time and dance. He was always thinking of others, dancing for the bands
no one liked, giving beer to those who didnt have any and cheering you up no matter what your problem was. As my dad says
"Lance was the human happy meal". If we could all live like Lance and be as cheerful and selfless as he was, this world would
be a much nicer place. This guy left behind two little kids and many awesome friends so hold him in your heart.
Thanks Lance for everything you've given to us and I hope you're rocking
out in the big slam pit in the sky. We'll miss you.

Yo! Sybilla here. Issue 8 is coming along. I have everything ready and on paper except for the interviews.
Three have been sent out and one I"m writing right now.
This zine is going to be pretty cool, we've got some great articles and photography going into it.
Thanks to everyone for caring and contributing you rock! Sharky is making our patches and those will be ready soon,
so be excited.
The zine seems to be taking new turns as I do. I wont reveal anything before it happens but expect
something different soon, not bad different but different different.
I wanna say something about the Jerkwads breaking up, I love you guys and I hope you all move onto
other bands and continue to kick ass, same goes to Ryan from DIM and Taylor and Brian from VSC. We'll miss you guys.
I need someone to help me scout out record stores and bookshops to sell YCKMD on consignment. If
you know of anywhere please shoot me an e-mail youthculturekilledmydogzine@yahoo.com Also e-mail me if you'd like to pass out flyers!
Hopefully the zine will be done by the new year.

Hey, I got 20 more copies made with the money from the benefit show. Fund raising ideas would be
helpful ;) Please buy zines/advertisements, or be really cool and steal me some copies from your school.
October is national work on zines month so help out and send me something cool (Mitch and I are
the only ones who have done anything so far) so get off your butt and write something awesome.
Everyone come to the workshop Wednesday.

I'm sold out of YCKMD #7 so Piradical Productions is throwing an awesome benefit show for us on September
22nd. Go to it. Expect more copies really soon!
Also Beverly Sourpunch and YCKMD has organized a zine workshop on OCTOBER 4th at the Anderson
Public Library in the Deleware Room from 5-8. We'll be showing "$100 and a T-shirt" and doing some ziney crafts plus a special guest speaker is coming. Woo!

the money to print and hopefully will have it available at the festival on saturday.

First of all, the old news got deleted because im an
idiot. The next issue of YCKMD is VERY close to being finished. I'm waiting on interviews with A Global Threat, Youth Brigade
and the Street Brats to get back, then (for the most part) it's done. Yay!
Sharky from Indy Patches (check out his
link on the links page) is making us canvas covers for super cheap. I'm pretty excited about that.
